I’ve always been fascinated by the sense of experience. It’s not just about how something feels, it’s also about how it makes you feel.

For this assignment, I was tasked with finding a new way to give a brand an experience. So I thought: why not use technology? We have cameras on our phones—why not use them to create art? Why not combine art supplies with digital technology?

That’s what we did at Technopolis in Belgium! We created a kiosk that allows children to draw on a screen with real water paint brushes that can be controlled by your fingers or stylus pen (or even your face). The app captures your drawing as it happens and saves it on your device so you can share it with friends later!
